You can use the Assistant Settings page under the Dialog Designer to setup messages for the Assistant to display to the user during a chat channel onboarding, offboarding or when asking a user’s feedback.
Messages to display on chat channels
The messages specified under this section will be displayed on the chat channel whenever the respective action takes place.
Onboarding Message (after deployment)
Onboarding Message refers to the message that the assistant displays to the user as soon as it is added to a Slack/Microsoft Teams channel.
Offboarding Message (after removing Assistant)
Offboarding Message is the message that the assistant displays to a user when it’s removed from a Slack/Microsoft Teams channel.
Error Message (If service unavailable)
The message under the Error Message field will be displayed to the user whenever the Workativ Assistant service is unavailable.
When to exit from a conversation
The message specified under this section will be displayed on the chat channel whenever the assistant exits from a conversation with a user.
End the conversation if there is no response from the user in
Use this dropdown to select the idle time for the assistant so that it can exit from a conversation with a user after the selected time duration.
Message to display to the user after ending a conversation
Use this field to specify the text that you want the virtual assistant to display to the user after the assistant ends a conversation.
The messages specified under this section will be displayed on the chat channel whenever you switch on the feedback option on the Exit option inside a dialog.
The messages under each of the two options under this will be displayed for the respective option chosen by the user.
The text specified under this will get displayed to the user if the user inputs anything without selecting either of the feedback options.
